Fees and settlement

3.1% on money you successfully collect, dropping to 2.3% after 3 months. Nothing else: no monthly fee, no setup fee, no minimum, no charge for failures.

Two rates, and the second one is automatic

RateWhen
Standard3.1%Your first 3 months of live processing
Loyalty2.3%Everything after that

The clock starts at your first successful live payment, not at signup and not at approval. Three of those four dates would reward waiting around; only this one measures the thing the discount is for, which is having actually processed money with us.

Nothing to claim

There is no form, no threshold and no conversation. The day arrives and the rate is lower. Your dashboard shows the date from the moment you take your first live payment, so you can check it rather than trust it.

Genuinely large volume gets its own rate, negotiated, and a negotiated rate beats both of the above, including the loyalty one, so nobody who talked us down ever gets moved back up.

What that looks like

The customer always pays the amount you asked for. The fee comes out of what we owe you, so there is never a surcharge to explain at checkout.

Rounded down, always

A fee of 2.5 francs is charged as 2, not 3. Rounding up would take a franc nobody agreed to, and “we round in our own favour” is a sentence we would rather not have to defend.

Settlement

Fee takenThe moment a collection succeeds
Money available24 hours after the collection succeeded
Payouts and withdrawalsSeconds, from available balance
Cut-offNone. The clock runs per payment, not per day.

Each payment matures on its own 24-hour clock, so a payment at 23:55 is available at 23:55 the next day, not on some batch that runs at dawn. Balance and withdrawals follows a single payment all the way through.

If your volume is real

The rate is per merchant, not per platform, and it is negotiable at volume. The plumbing for that already exists, so a different rate is a setting on your account rather than a project. A negotiated rate replaces both tiers and does not expire.

Every payment records the fee it was charged, at the rate that applied the moment it happened. So a rate change from today changes nothing about yesterday: your old transactions, reports and exports stay exactly as they were.

What we do not charge for

  • Failures. A declined prompt, an expired prompt, a wrong PIN, an empty wallet: all free. You pay when you get paid.
  • Webhooks and retries. However many times we have to reach your endpoint.
  • Test mode. Every simulated payment, forever.
  • API calls. Reads are free. Poll within reason.
  • Dashboard users. No per-seat anything.

One thing that is not free

A refund sends the customer their full amount back, and the fee we took on the way in is not returned. We paid the rails to move that money once and pay them again to move it back, so a refunded 20,000 RWF payment costs you 620 RWF.
